Loop Asset Management co-founders Joe Burrows and Alex Dunkley sat down with Green Street News to discuss the launch of the business.
Joe spent six years as an Associate Investment Director at SEGRO before joining KKR-backed Mirastar Real Estate, while Alex spent more than two years at Cushman & Wakefield. The pair left their respective roles in February 2024 to establish Loop.
Backed by a UK family office as its cornerstone investor, Loop follows a value-add and core-plus strategy. The business sees a growing need to refurbish underperforming assets and is focused on growing the portfolio for its existing investor while working with further investors in the future.
At the time of the interview, Loop had completed its first two acquisitions in Peterborough and Elland, totalling around 47,000 sq ft across 12 units.
