Loop Asset Management has lifted 78% of its portfolio to an EPC rating of B or above. At acquisition, only four of the portfolio's 23 units achieved at least an EPC B. Today, 18 of the 23 meet that standard.
Improving energy efficiency is central to Loop's approach of repositioning existing commercial assets into flexible, modern and practical workspace for SMEs. Works have included the fully electric refurbishment of Units 3 to 5 at Heathfield Industrial Estate in Elland, which removed the gas supply and upgraded the M&E and lighting.
Occupiers benefit from lower running costs, while the assets gain resilience and improved liquidity. Loop continues to improve the portfolio towards B+.
